His journalism has appeared in <em>Locus, SFX,</em> the <em>Guardian</em>, the <em>Independent</em>, the <em>Daily Mirror</em>, <em>Time Out</em>, <em>Sight and Sound</em>, and <em>Rolling Stone</em>, among many other publications. He currently lives in the West Midlands, U.K., with his wife, the writer Anne Gay.</p>
