Her work has appeared in various magazines, including <em>Esquire,</em> the <em>New York Times Magazine,</em> and <em>Ladies Home Journal.</em> Ms. Burnham has worked at the Smithsonian Institution and the Kennedy Center Fund for New American Plays.</p>
