Shirley Day

Shirley Day was born in Somerset but has spent most of her adult life in Suffolk. She trained to be an actress before going on to do a BA in Literature and Philosophy and an MA in Philosophy and Classics. She teaches screenwriting and Theatre studies at a university in London, whilst also writing for film and theatre. Her short stories have been used on BBC Radio Four and published in literary anthologies.
