Lynette E. Theisen

Even as a young girl, Lynette Theisen knew she liked telling stories. However, it wasn’ t until her mid-thirties that she realized it was more than a passion, but a purpose. Lynette took a job working part-time for The Town Charter, her hometown newspaper. She quickly gained popularity and began a weekly inspirational column. It wasn’ t until some of her readers urged her to write a book that the idea intrigued her. However, it took trial and error and nine months’ time before she got the idea for Through the Night. Lynette currently resides in Denton County, Texas, with her husband, two teenage boys, twin daughters, and three dogs. She enjoys going to church and Bible study, going to the movies with her husband and kids, scoring higher than her sons in laser tag (though they will deny that Mom can beat them), fellowshipping— aka hangin’ out with girlfriends— dancing around the house to loud music for some exercise and stress relief (a little head banging and air band to go along with it) and, of course, writing!
