Katy Newton Naas

Katy Newton Naas spends much of her time chasing her two young sons, three dogs, four cats, and eight ducks. She is the author of many children’ s and young adult books, including Young Adult Book of the Year Award-winning novel, <i>Healing Rain</i>, and Literary Classics Book Award-winning middle grade novel, <i>Guardian</i>. She enjoys serving as youth leader in her church and teaching middle school reading and language arts in the local public-school system of Norris City, IL.
