Jeff Dwyer, a native of northern California, has been fascinated with local history and ghost stories since boyhood. Though he currently works as a clinical specialist in cardiology, Dwyer rekindled his interest in paranormal phenomena after many years of clinical practice in intensive care units and rehabilitation facilities. Numerous inexplicable experiences in hospitals, cemeteries, and historic sites around the Bay Area led to extensive research that culminated in Ghost Hunter’ s Guide to the San Francisco Bay Area. He resides with his wife and three children in Fairfield, California.
