<p>Fernanda Capobianco is the founder of Vegan Divas Bakery in New York City. Previously a manager and owner of the Payard restaurant and pastry shops in Rio de Janeiro, Fernanda translated her classic pastry skills into plant-based prowess, using healthy, organic, and fresh ingredients to create delectable desserts, sandwiches, and breakfast items at her café. Vegan Divas has been featured in publications such as the <em>New York Times</em>, <em>Vogue</em>, <em>New York</em> magazine, <em>People</em>, and <em>Martha Stewart Weddings</em>, and is a favorite of many vegan (and vegan-leaning) celebrities, including Alicia Silverstone, Madonna, and Bethenny Frankel. Fernanda lives with her husband, pastry chef François Payard, in New York City.</p>
