Coauthor of the groundbreaking <em>Our Separate Ways: Black and White Women and the Struggle for Professional Identity</em>, she has written for <em>Essence</em> magazine and has been featured in the <em>Wall Street Journal</em>, <em>BusinessWeek</em>, <em>Newsweek</em>, <em>Working Mother</em>, and other publications.</p>
