Elise D'Haene

Licking Our Wounds is Elise D’Haene’s first novel. An excerpt was published in the anthology Blood Whispers Two: LA Writers on AIDS, edited by Terry Wolverton. A work of short fiction, “Married,” was a winner in the 1994 Hemingway Short Story Competition and appeared in the literary journal Modern Word. Another story, "Self‑Deliverance," appeared in Hers: Brilliant New Fiction by Lesbians, published by Faber and Faber.
