David Cassidy
David Cassidy (1950–2017) was born in New York to Evelyn Ward and Jack Cassidy, both actors. His career took off when the television series The Partridge Family first aired in 1970, and Cassidy became a superstar actor and singer/songwriter who broke box office records worldwide. He had many hit records, earned an Emmy nomination for his television acting, starred in several Broadway and London West End shows, and headlined in Las Vegas for more than 2,000 performances, among many other accomplishments.
