Betty Kelen

Betty Kelen, who spent her college years as an anthropology major, has a particular interest in the religions of mankind and in the mystical teachers. Muhammad, the Messenger of God is one of a series of biographies that includes Gautama Buddha and Confucius. All the great teachers lived lives of tragic passion and were persecuted because of the shocking impact of their mystic convictions on materialistic societies.

Kelen has one daughter and has been an editor for a UN organization with headquarters in Vienna.
