The Widowmaker

In a far-future galaxy whose farthest planets exist in a "wild west" version of space, the law needs a VERY long arm--and sometimes it just makes sense to call on a bounty hunter instead. Jefferson Nighthawk, known as the Widowmaker, was the most legendary bounty hunter the galaxy has ever known. But when Nighthawk fell ill with an incurable disease, he had himself frozen to await a cure. Twice he is woken only to be told his funds are running low, and twice he agrees to be cloned and sent out again to carry on the Widowmaker legend--and earn the money to stay in stasis. But three Widowmakers may be more than any one galaxy can hold....
