Starborn

The Lightning Strike titles follow the adventures of Tina Santis Pulivok, who in a chance encounter one night in 1987 East LA meets an intense stranger named Althor. His metallic skin, inner eyelids, and stilted way of talking baffle her--but her curiosity and bravery enable her to accept that he is not from Earth, and that he needs help to regain his starship and escape the assassins who seek his destruction.
