A Horse like Barney

Sarah and her family have just moved from the city to a farm in rural Vermont. This could be her chance to have a horse—something she wants more than anything else. Taking care of a half-Morgan gelding while his owner is away at college is a step in the right direction, even if it’s a lot more work than she expected and Barney is stubborn and likes doing things his way. Little by little, Sarah starts to fall in love with Barney. What happens when she has to give him up? Will she finally get a horse to call her own?
