Women vs. Women: The Uncivil Business War, established Madden as an expert on the subject of social behavior of women in the workplace. She has been interviewed on the subject on various talk shows, including Oprah, and continues to lecture on the topic. Madden is currently a freelance journalist and a yoga instructor. She lives in California with her husband, Ned.
