Nancy McArthur
Nancy McArthur is the author of more than a dozen children’s books, including her most popular middle-grade novel, The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks, plus eight sequels and several books for younger readers. She lives in Berea, Ohio, where she also taught journalism part-time in the English department at Baldwin-Wallace College. McArthur was a freelance writer before becoming an author, and she made her living doing public relations work for theatres, ballets, and operas. Her experience led to her to write her nonfiction book, How to Do Theatre Publicity. She has lots of plants, but they haven’t eaten anything . . . so far.
