The Broken Promise Land

From the New York Times–bestselling author, a female PI hunts down a killer when sister's celebrity husband's life is threatened.

Someone is bent on getting revenge on Ricky Savage, Sharon McCone’s brother-in-law and a two-time Grammy Award-winning country singer. The danger escalates as Sharon realizes that more than one person has been playing underhanded games—and that the music industry is truly a broken promise land.

Praise for the Sharon McCone series:

“Long before Sue Grafton's Kinsey Milhone, long before Sara Paretsky's V. I. Warshawski, there was Marcia Muller's Sharon McCone . . .Muller and McCone are still the class of the field.” — San Diego Union-Tribune

“The plotting is competent and the writing lively” —New York Times

“One of the genre's Grand Masters.” — Library Journal
