Stalked at Sea

On July 30, 1945, Japanese torpedoes slammed into the hull of the USS Indianapolis as it crossed the Pacific Ocean. The sudden attack sank the Navy’s heavy cruiser in only 12 minutes. It also left hundreds of sailors adrift and alone in shark-infested waters. What did these men endure in the days that followed, and how did more than 300 of them manage to survive? Young readers will find out in a dramatic graphic novel that tells the tale of one of World War II’s worst military disasters.
