Prior to her career in daytime television, Williams was host of the nationally syndicated daily radio show <em>The Wendy Williams Experience</em>, which garnered an audience of twelve million devoted fans nationwide. In 2009, Williams was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame. She is the author of the <em>New York Times</em> bestseller <em>The Wendy Williams Experience</em> and <em>Ask Wendy</em>, as well as several novels, including <em>Ritz Harper Goes to Hollywood</em>. She contributes a weekly celebrity hot-topics column to the entertainment magazine <em>Life & Style</em>.</p>
