Susan Axe-Bronk was raised in Mt. Airy, a neighborhood in Philadelphia, at the time a vibrant Jewish community. She has worked as a school psychologist and art teacher for over 20 years and has written poetry throughout her life. Several years ago, she began writing for children. Always fascinated by the interests, worries and delights of children, she attempts to weave these into her stories. Susan lives in Newton, Massachusetts with her family.
