Robert Sharenow is an award-winning writer, television producer, and media executive. He is the author of several books that have received starred reviews, including the Sydney Taylor Book Award–winning The Berlin Boxing Club, and My Mother the Cheerleader, which was selected as an ALA Best Book for Teens pick. As a television producer and executive, his creative teams have won multiple Emmy and Peabody Awards, as well as an Oscar. He and his wife reside in New York.
