Dr. Marissa Pei holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology and is a media personality and TV commentator with an award-winning talk radio/TV show called "Take my Advice I'm not using it: Get Balanced with Dr. Marissa". For 272 consecutive weeks, Dr. Marissa balances out the negative news on the airwaves and internet with a message of Hope and Happiness. The show has been syndicated for four years now on CNBC, NBC ,and I Heart Radio. A natural on camera, she has been a talking head on FOX, Discovery Channel, ABC, Planet Green, KTLA, KUSI and CBS specials. Dr. Marissa’ s first book published in 2002 by Wiley & Sons was co-authored with UCLA professor emeritus, Dr. Fred Massarik and is titled <i>Organization Development and Consulting: Perspectives and Foundations</i>, and is still used as a core text in the field. Dr. Marissa publishes a monthly column in The Sun called “ What If?” , has had articles published in the Orange County Register, was interviewed by Inc. Magazine and Hearst magazine’ s Marie Claire China, has a photo credit in Forbes, and is an internationally sought after keynote speaker. Her extensive awards, including 2017 Iconic Women of the Year, 2016 Podcast of the Year Top 10 in Health, 2014 Asian Heritage and Lotus Business Person of the Year Award, 2012 Asian Entrepreneur of the Year Award, 2007 Remarkable Woman of the Year, and 2005 Role Model of the Year in Business and Media, along with her message of Hope and Happiness, has earned her the honorable moniker ‘ the Asian Oprah’ ! Dr. Marissa has lived in Seal Beach, California for 19 years with a recording studio in Hollywood and a syndicated station in the Inland Empire.
