Marissa de Luna grew up in India and has a keen interest in travel. Taking a career break in 2007 gave her opportunity to start a writing career.
She is a contemporary fiction author and has penned six novels to date. These include psychological thriller
The Bittersweet Vine (Thames Valley Press), romantic suspense
Poison in the Water (So Vain) and three titles in the
Chupplejeep Mysteries, a cosy-crime series set in rural Goa.
Marissa now lives in Oxford with her husband and two children. She spends much of her free time in South Devon where her in-laws have a beautiful house on the Kingsbridge Estuary. It has provided inspiration and the backdrop for her new cosy-crime series: The
Shilpa Solanki Mysteries which will be published by Bloodhound Books.
Marissa is a member of Abingdon Writers, The Crime Writers' Association and the Society of Authors.
