Marilyn Hailbronner was born in the United Kingdom. She spent much of her early life living in different parts of the British Isles, in Europe, and the Far East. Her careers have spanned the British military, paramedicine, EMS teacher, naturalist guide in Alaska, and wildlife illustrator. Presently, she resides in America with her husband and faithful dog Toby. Together they frequently travel to explore historic sites. Marilyn is currently working on the next book in “ The Shadow of Black Mountain” series.
