Lora-Marie Bernard is an award-winning Texas journalist and author whose books focus on great Lone Star stories sifted through a modern lens. She earned her undergraduate degree in journalism at the Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas. She earned her master’ s degree in extension studies at Harvard University, where she studied journalism and museum studies.
