Linda Svendsen

Linda Svendsen is a fiction and television writer living in New Westminster, Canada. She is a Professor at the UBC School of Creative Writing and was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2006. Additionally, her work has received support from the Wallace Stegner Fellowship (Stanford University), the Bunting Fellowship (Radcliffe), two National Endowment for the Arts Awards in Fiction, and a NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship. Her short fiction has appeared in the Atlantic, Best Canadian Stories, the PEN/O. Henry Prize Stories, and the Norton Anthology of Short Fiction, among others.
