David Geisser enlisted in the Pontifical Swiss Guard in 2013, serving under the 266th Supreme Pontiff of the Church of Rome, Pope Francis. Already an established chef and published author by the time of his enlistment, today Geisser is a prominent chef in Switzerland, hosting his own TV show and leading the David Geisser Cooking Studio. Born and raised in the Wetzikon district of Zurich, Geisser and his wife still reside in his hometown.
