In addition to the <I>New York Times Magazine</I>, Daniel's writing has appeared in the <I>Atlantic</I>, <I>Granta</I>, <I>Harper's</I>, <I>Mother Jones</I>, <I>Talk</I>, and the <I>New York Times Book Review</I>, and on the op-ed page of the <I>New York Times</I>.
