Dr. Chaim Y. Botwinick
With over thirty years of experience among nonpro?t organizations, schools, and agencies, Dr. Chaim Y. Botwinick has lectured and consulted extensively throughout the United States, Canada, and Israel. He has worked in the areas of strategic planning, staff and resource development, board and staff education, leadership training, and organizational development. He is routinely called upon to help design, develop, and implement professional and leadership development training programs for schools and nonpro?t organizations and agencies. Dr. Botwinick is the president and CEO of the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education in Miami, Florida. Prior to assuming his current post, Dr. Botwinick was the executive vice president of the Center for Jewish Education in Baltimore and senior educational consultant to THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore. Dr. Botwinick has held numerous national board and senior advisory positions, including the Council for Jewish Education, Jewish Education Services of North America, the National Collaborative of Public and Non-Public Schools (of which he was the recipient of their 1995 Educator of the Year Award), the editorial board of Jewish Education Quarterly and Agenda, and president of the Association of Directors of Central Educational Agencies. He also served as a member of the New York State Governor’ s Task Force on Equity and Excellence in Education and as senior advisor to the President’ s National Commission on the Holocaust.
